The Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael R. Weimer recognized the Top three Commands for Army Food Service excellence during the 2023 AUSA conference Oct. 9, at the Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C. The Army’s Commitment To Improving Overall Nutrition (ACTION) is the means, ends, and ways of how the Army fuels Soldiers for Warfighting”. ACTION supports the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) initiative to achieve and sustain improved nutritional fitness of Soldiers in support of individual, physical and mental performance and well-being, and its impact on unit lethality, combat effectiveness and readiness.
