The facility is the first RMTC in Afghanistan to transition to ANA-control for training, operations and maintenance in the country; it was also the last to be opened in January 2010. A team of advisers from the Danish Army have been training and mentoring the ANA trainers at RMTC-SW since February 2012. A team of advisers from the British Army manned the facility before the Danes’ arrival. (U.S. Army photo by Bill Putnam/Released)
