231014-N-IG750-1098 GYEONGJU, Republic of Korea (Oct. 14, 2023) Sailors assigned to the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), listen to a tour guide during a Morale, Welfare, and Recreation-sponsored tour of Gyeongju, Republic of Korea, Oct. 14, 2023. On the tour, Sailors experienced Gyeongju’s historical Bulguksa Temple and viewed a collection of cultural properties from the Unified Silla period. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
