“First in, last out,” is the motto of the 480th Fighter Generation Squadron, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, which provides mission capable aircraft through maintenance. The squadron consists of one aircraft maintenance unit, which is responsible for the servicing, inspecting, maintaining, launching, and recovering the assigned F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft to ensure availability and combat ready pilots for all assigned missions.
