Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) Commanding Officer Capt. James Belmont, top center, addresses eastern North Carolina educators attending the two-day Aviation Sciences Leadership Institute held at FRCE and Craven Community College Aug. 2-3. The teachers toured FRCE and attended workshops on how to incorporate lessons on industrial careers in their STEM curriculum. FRCE is eastern North Carolina’s largest industrial employer, with more than 4,000 employees working in mostly technical engineering and industrial positions.
