Alameda, CA - Northern California servicemembers sing Anchors Aweigh to start a chief petty officer (CPO) pinning ceremony aboard the USS Hornet (CV 12) Sept. 29, 2023. Twenty-four northern California CPOs and one Marine had their anchors pinned for the first time in front of fellow CPOs, command leadership, family, and friends.
