Lt. Col. Jeffrey Gould, 151st Operations Group commander, explains the Real-Time Information in the Cockpit (RTIC) program to a Congressional members and staffers during a connectivity Congressional roadshow at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, September 27, 2023. The RTIC provides real-time situational awareness to KC-135 crews by displaying enemy threats, target data and allied force locations on an avionics display located in the cockpit. The roadshow, which featured a KC-135, a C-17, and a C-130 aircraft as well as aircrew, aeromedical evacuation and contingency response personnel, focused on educating Congressional members and staffers on the connectivity required to close logistics chains and enable the necessary agility and survivability for the Joint Force.
