A U.S. Army Ranger assigned to 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, utilizes a breaching tool while conducting Multi-Lateral Airborne Training (MLAT) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Aug. 23, 2023. The purpose of MLAT is to prepare Rangers to be able to take control of an airfield while in combat.
