Bill McGovern, Fort Stewart Directorate of Public Works operations and maintenance and lead mold remediation specialist, points to areas where ceiling panels were removed to assist with drying out a barracks room in building 212 after the room was flooded by an equipment failure following a power outage that knocked all four cold-water chillers offline at the installation's central energy plant on Sept. 16. The Soldiers affected by the flooding were moved to new rooms while the remediation is underway.
