Master Chief Harlan Patawaran, the command master chief for Field Medical Training Battalion West and Capt. Michael Eby, the commanding officer of FMTB-West greet Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Mike D. Stevens, at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Dec. 19. The visit was part of MCPON’s three-day trip to Navy-Marine Corps facilities in the San Diego area and to meet with the sailors face-to-face. He toured FMTB-West’s facilities, gave a brief motivational speech to the instructors and held a question and answers brief for the students. MCPON expressed his appreciation of the instructor’s great work.
