Iraqi national police officers from 1st Brigade, 1st National Police Division, arrive at their new headquarters building, March 8. The NP unit moved into the "mall" adjacent to Forward Operating Base Loyalty. Earlier in the day, brigade leaders toured the complex and signed for the property. Prior to the brigade taking ownership, the location had once been used as a duty-free shopping center for tourist and foreign visitors. The new facility will serve to enhance the NP unit's capability to protect Iraqi citizens as well as enhancing coordination with their coalition partners.
