British Royal Marines Commandos assigned to 40 Commando, currently attached to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, hold security on a door during a joint raid with Reconnaissance Company, 15th MEU, and the Phoenix Police Department at the 24th Street Water Treatment Plant in Phoenix as part of Realistic Urban Training exercise Aug. 26, 2023. RUT is a land-based predeployment exercise that enhances the integration and collective capability of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force while providing the 15th MEU with an opportunity to train and execute operations in an urban environment.
