YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 15, 2023) — Rear Adm. Pat Hannifin, Commander, Carrier Strike Group 5, and Dr. Rosie Ortiz-Torres, ombudsman for USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) and awardee of the 2023 Mrs. Sybil Stockdale Award for Pacific Fleet Region, cut a cake during the 2023 Ombudsman Appreciation Dinner. The yearly dinner was hosted by Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka’s (CFAY) Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) at the Officer’s Club aboard CFAY. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
