A KC-130J Hercules aircraft carrying pallets of humanitarian aid taxis to an area on the Davao International Airport ramp where it can be unloaded by service members from the Government of the Philippines and United States Department of Defense. The Marines transported relief supplies from Villamor Air Base in Manila to Davao, the region most affected by the typhoon. From Davao, the supplies were principally distributed by government and nongovernmental organizations to displaced families affected by the typhoon as directed by the Philippine government.
