NORFOLK, Va. - Vice Adm. Daniel Dwyer, commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet, speaks with Cmdr. Brian Sanchez, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gravely (DDG 107) in the commanding officer in-port cabin, Sept. 7, 2023. Gravely is currently assigned to the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group under U.S. 2nd Fleet command and control. U.S. 2nd Fleet employs maritime forces ready to fight across multiple domains in the Atlantic and Arctic in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
