Lt. Gen. Ricardo Ventura, Chilean Army Chief of Staff, provides remarks during the 18th annual, bilateral U.S.-Chilean army staff talks, Aug. 29, at the Chilean Army Headquarters, Santiago. U.S. Army South Leaders and Chilean Army leaders hosted the two-day army-to-army engagement to promote professional relationships, create training opportunities and enhance interoperability between the two armies. The staff talks resulted in 50 planned joint engagements for the next three years.
