Sailors in mission oriented protective posture suits lift litters with simulated casualties during exercise Desert Sailor 08. Desert Sailor is a two-week exercise for U.S. Sailors and Marines and their Bahraini counterparts. The MOPP suit is designed for protection against chemical, biological, and radiological threats. The exercise consists of training in chemical and biological decontamination, hazardous material containment, firefighting and rescue operations.
