Members of the Al Hasakah Civil Council, People’s Hospital of Shaddadi, Al Shaddadi Civil Council, Combined Special Operations Joint Task Force – Levant (CSOJTF-L) and Jazira Council watch as hospital equipment is unloaded at the People’s Hospital of Shaddadi Aug. 19, 2023. The hospital equipment was provided by CSOJTF-L to the hospital in cooperation with the civil councils. The equipment will expand the capabilities and capacity of the hospital which serves approximately 350,000 residents in the region, leading to a stable, safe region that inhibits the reemergence of ISIS.
