An FA-18D Hornet receives fuel while a U.S. Navy MH-60S Knighthawk helicopter taxis forward on West Field here during simulated surge operation as part of Exercise Forager Fury 2012. During the opening hours of the surge, four Hornets and two Knighthawks landed on Tinian and received fuel. The Hornet is with Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224, which is currently under the Unit Deployment Program with Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The Knighthawk is with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 out of Anderson Air Force Base, Guam.
