U.S. Soldiers pose for a group photo at the end of the 1,000 Pound Club tryouts at the Hohenfels Gym near Hohenfels, Germany, Aug. 19, 2023. Every three months, U.S. Army Garrison-Bavaria Hohenfels hosts "1,000 Pound Club" tryouts where Soldiers conduct bench presses, back squats, and deadlifts at their maximum weights for the sum of at least 1,000 pounds.
