Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Provost, command sergeant major, 200th Military Police Battalion, U.S. Army Reserve, discuss operations with Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (Koninkilljke Marechaussee or Kmar) officers at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Aug. 15, 2023. The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee is the national gendarmerie force of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, performing military and civilian police duties - one of two national police forces in the Netherlands, alongside the National Police, and one of four branches of the Netherlands Armed Forces. With aid from allied countries, the force is in the process of establishing a new military police force program. The Army Reserve is aligned as part of the Total Army’s effort to prepare for future multi-domain operations, spanning the spectrum from information warfare to protection capabilities.
