Brig. Gen. Michael J. Simmering, U.S. Army Armor School Commandant, Maneuver Center of Excellence, presents Eva Aiken the Meritorious Public Service Medal for her contributions as a community ambassador to the International Military Students Office during an appreciation dinner at the Cunningham Conference Center in Columbus, Ga., Aug. 15, 2023. The IMSO Ambassador Program is designed to provide hospitality to international military students at Fort Moore and, in some cases, their spouses and children, and provide opportunities for them to become acquainted with American family life.
