World War I veteran Frank Woodruff Buckles as featured in photographer David DeJonge's American Survivors of World War I portrait exhibit, donated to the Pentagon at a March 6, ceremony. Buckles, 107, is shown in his home library outside of Charles Town, W.Va. He is one of the last known surviving veterans of World War I.
