(Aug. 1, 2023) -- Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Cody Anderson, a Sailor attached to Patrol Squadron (VP) 46, the ‘Grey Knights,’ verifies the MK 54 Warshot Torpedo is secured and supported inside the weapons bay of a P-8A Poseidon at Naval Air Station, Whidbey Island, Washington, Aug. 1 2023. VP-46 was tasked with conducting a surface weapon test of the MK 54 Warshot Torpedo to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the weapon’s inventory.
