U.S. Army Spc. Isaac Junkin with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 112th Infantry Regiment, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, accepts the certificate for a master’s degree in strategic studies July 28, 2023, at the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on behalf of his father Lt. Col. Francisco Junkin. Lt. Col. Junkin passed away April 8, 2023, at the age of 46, leaving behind his wife of 23 years, Kathleen, and their three sons Ethan, Isaac and Alex.
