Lt. Ron Kolpak assigned to Maritime Civil Affairs Team (MCAT) 105, drums for a local band during a 'Battle of the Bands' semi-final competition. The winning band will go on to open for Macy Gray in Manama, Bahrain. MCAT 105 is deployed with Commander, Task Group 56.9, which provides maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
