Two Apache helicopters from 1st Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment, Utah National Guard, fly over the Utah State Fairgrounds at the opening of the Days of 47 rodeo, July 21, 2023. Senior leadership from the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces and Utah National Guard participated in the opening ceremony with the six visiting Moroccans being honored while riding in a wagon during the opening parade and then again later during the evening on the stage. The Kingdom of Morocco and the Utah National Guard have over a 20-year partnership participating in multiple exercises to include humanitarian and military training exercises each year.
