Zac Cunningham, School Programs Educator at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, demonstrates the use of a 3-D printed nocturnal during a recent hands on history session in the museum’s gallery. The 3-D printed nocturals are used by museum educators as part of the Explorers and Navigation history program offered to area public schools free of charge as part of the museum’s educational outreach programs during the school year.
