2020 Olympian Sgt. Alison Weisz, a marksmanship instructor/competitive shooter, with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit International Rifle Team, won the Bronze Medal in both Women’s 10m Air Rifle and Women’s 50m Three-Position Rifle/Smallbore at the USA Shooting Pan American Games Selection Match in Colorado Springs, Colorado July 6-11. This allows the Belgrade, Montana native to represent the Nation in Women’s Air Rifle at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile later this fall.
This will be second time for the U.S. Army Soldier to compete at the Pan American Games. At her first Pan Am Games in 2019, she won the Gold Medal in Women’s 10m Air Rifle. (USA Shooting Courtesy Photo)
