The most recent training program (late May 2023) took place in the newly targeted rural, and difficult to access district of Yabuth (Hadramout Governorate), where members of USAID ERLP’s Mukalla-based team were enthusiastically welcomed by community leaders and participants. Although 35 beekeepers were invited, as word of the training spread throughout the community, three additional apiarians showed up, for a total of 38 participants. Trainings were held in a classroom setting with practical demonstrations performed in the field.
