230705-N-ZZ999-1222 SASEBO, Japan (Jul. 5, 2023) Chief Builder Clayton Condon, right, presents Utilitiesman 2nd Class Daijah Price, from Elizabeth, North Carolina, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, with a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, for her performance while serving as a mechanical shop foreman for Public Works Department Bahrain from November 2020 to August 2022. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States territories to support and maintain a free and open Indo-Pacific. As the stand-in, crisis response, naval engineering force, NMCB-3 maintains a ready posture to deliver in-theater expeditionary logistics via expeditionary shore infrastructure, forward damage repair, and mobile construction.
