U.S. Marine Corps and Navy service members with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, move boxes into a medium tactical vehicle replacement Humvee during a combat support service area exercise at Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Australia, July 5, 2023. The CSSA sustained Marines within the expeditionary advanced base of operations in receiving food, water, and fuel from CLB-31. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
