A U.S. Navy MH-60S Knighthawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23 delivers supplies to the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) during a vertical replenishment, Nov. 8, 2012, in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Peleliu, the flagship of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, was deployed to the region with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) to conduct maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
