    NMOTC Dental Hygiene program conducts Uniform Dress White Inspection

    Chief Hospital Corpsman Kirk Bishop inspects Sailors during a dress white uniform inspection, April 21. HM Dental Hygienist NEC (or L35A) is a program offered through the Navy Medical Operational Training Command (NMOTC). The Corpsman enrolled specialize in caring for the dental healthcare of Sailors and Marines of the wider Fleet. Corpsmen who complete the course will gain dental hygiene skills and working knowledge of the surgical procedures and interventions needed to correct and care for dental injuries, conditions, and maladies. Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC) is comprised of six nationwide detachments and numerous programs that offer specialized medical training in the fields of aviation, aviation survival, surface and undersea warfare, expeditionary and special operations medicine.
