CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (July 2, 2023) - Master at Arms 3rd Class Joshua Owens recently warmed up a crowd at Camp Lemonnier before Kaitlin Walker performed on July 2. When Owens is not on the stage, he is a Military Working Dog handler for CLDJ’s Security Department. His mission here is to provide anti-terrorism and force protection, law enforcement, and security services to the base and tenant commands. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia. The base enables maritime and combat operations in the Horn of Africa while fostering positive U.S.-Africa relations.
