NAVAL BASE GUAM, Guam. (May 17, 2023) –Sailors from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) Five, assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75, and Australian Special Operations Engineer Regiment (SOER) conduct a full mission profile training event with air support from the "Island Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 during exercise Dawn Crab 2023 near Naval Base Guam. Exercise Dawn Crab strengthens partnerships with SOER and increases technical proficiency between the two forces in a variety of missions sets unique to EOD through the sharing of command specific tools, techniques and procedures. CTF 75 executes command and control of assigned Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces in the 7th Fleet area of operations. They plan and execute Naval Construction, Expeditionary Logistics, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Maritime Expeditionary Security, and Exploitation in support of Commander, 7th Fleet for crisis response, humanitarian assistance, and major combat operations.
