NAVAL BASE GUAM, Guam. (May 18, 2023) –Sailors from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) Five, assigned to Commander. Task Force (CTF) 75, and Australian Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians conduct a full mission profile training event during exercise Dawn Crab 2023 near Naval Base Guam. Exercise Dawn Crab enhances partnerships with allied forces and increases technical proficiency in a variety of missions sets unique to EOD. CTF 75 executes command and control of assigned Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces in the 7th Fleet area of operations. They plan and execute Naval Construction, Expeditionary Logistics, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Maritime Expeditionary Security, and Exploitation in support of Commander, 7th Fleet for crisis response, humanitarian assistance, and major combat operations.
