Arnold Air Force Base Fire and Emergency Services officials are urging base personnel to keep safety at the forefront during their Fourth of July celebrations. According to the National Fire Protection Association, fireworks cause more than 19,000 reported fires and thousands of injuries in the U.S. each year. More than one-third of those suffering fireworks injuries in 2018 were under the age of 15. (National Fire Protection Association graphic)
