U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Soldiers swept the Men’s 50m Smallbore Rifle podium at USA Shooting’s 2023 National Rifle Championships at Fort Moore, Georgia June 1-10. Spc. Jared Eddy (Columbus, Georgia), Sgt. Ivan Roe (Bozeman, Montana), and Sgt. Tim Sherry (Evergreen, Colorado) won the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, respectively, with Eddy also being named the 50m Smallbore Rifle National Champion. All Soldiers are marksmanship instructors/competitive shooters with the unique unit stationed at Fort Moore.
