U.S. Marine Corps World War II Veteran Armin Barth, recieves his GED and the Congressional Gold Medal from his local community and US congress at American Legion Post 38, Appleton, Wisconsin, June 17, 2023. Barth dropped out of High School to enlist in the military during World War II; during this ceremony Barth was awrded his GED by the local school board.
