Sandall, a field radio operator with 2nd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, demonstrates how to assemble the OE-254 antenna for battalion personnel during a strategic mobility exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 15-16, 2012. The Marines learned how the antenna is used to extend the range of radio usage up to 12 miles to extend communication distances.
