Sgt. Angela M. Palm serves Miyako Kise during a Thanksgiving meal at Hikarigaoka Nursing Home in Kin Town Nov. 15. Marines with 7th Communication Battalion provided the meal for nearly 200 elderly Japanese residents and staff at the nursing home. The dinner is a symbol of the close relationship the battalion and the nursing home has developed and shared for the past two decades. Palm is a computer defense specialist for 7th Comm. Bn., III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. Kise is a resident at the nursing home.
