A formation of Turkish F-16s, Polish F-16s and U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornets, attached to the "Ragin' Bulls" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 37, fly in Polish air space over the Baltic Sea as part of a photo exercise during Baltic Operations Exercise (BALTOPS), June 13, 2023. BALTOPS 23 is the premier maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic Region. The exercise, led by U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, and executed by Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO, include ships and ashore units from 11 NATO Ally nations and provides a unique training opportunity to strengthen combined response capabilities critical to preserving freedom of navigation and security in the Baltic Sea.
