“Being a sergeant and being a leader of Marines is a privilege that I don’t take lightly,” said Ginty when reflecting on what the rank of sergeant meant to him. “I take immense pride in being both.”
Ginty was meritoriously promoted to sergeant and was identified as a “Follow Me” Marine in efforts to highlight 2d Marine Division Marines who have gone above and beyond in their respective fields.
