FORT CHAFFEE, Ark. — The Warhammer Stakes, a competition organized by the 239th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, reaches its pinnacle on the second-to-last day, June 12, 2023. Participants engage in a grueling ruck march, weighing 30-35 lbs, along with a series of team activities including a litter carry, humvee drag, sandbag run, Bangalore supply box carry and weapons assembly lane.
