National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (NMCP) staff disinter World War II caskets before a disinterment ceremony at the NMCP, Honolulu, Hawaii, June 12, 2023. Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) disinterred seven caskets as part of the Enoura Maru Project; an on-going effort by the DPAA to disinter, transport, and identify missing POWs from WWII.
