Bickerstaff, practice manager for Chesser Dental Clinic, shared her experiences recently in a BJACH Pride Month story and said, “Working for the Department of Defense as a lesbian has been rewarding. I absolutely adore witnessing history being made first hand as policies and regulations change. Representation matters, for the past two years since Pride Month has been recognized I’ve set up a display table in my clinic’s waiting room as an opportunity to educated those outside of our community and celebrate with those within it.”
