PORT HUENEME, Calif. (March 30, 2023) U.S. Navy Cmdr. Kimberly Mazur, center, chair of the Women’s Professional Network, Port Hueneme chapter, hosts a speed mentoring session for junior officers and senior enlisted Sailors at Naval Base Ventura County, March 30, 2023. The session allowed 28 junior military members to speak face-to-face with senior officers or senior enlisted members for a timed four-minute period. The event created a positive, high-energy atmosphere that required each mentor to boil down and share their most valuable career information tips with their eager mentees, the future leaders of the Naval Civil Engineer Corps.
