Secretary of the Navy, the honorable Carlos Del Toro, recognizes a special guest, a recipient from the Make a Wish Foundation and their mother, following the United States Navy Band June 6 Concert on the Avenue on the steps of the Navy Memorial in Washington D.C. The young man’s wish to see a live Navy Band Concert where he met members of the Navy Band, the Navy Ceremonial Guard, the Secretary of the Navy, and other distinguished government and military officials and naval attaches who gathered for the band’s performance. Navy Band performances inspire patriotism, elevate esprit de corps, honor veterans and connect millions of Americans with their Navy.
