U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers with the 125th Cyber Protection Battalion (CPB), the 59th Aviation Troop Command, South Carolina National Guard and U.S. Airforce National Guard pilots with the 157th Fighter Squadron, South Carolina Air National Guard, hosted JROTC cadets during a STEM engagement program, June 5 to 8, 2023, at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, in Eastover, South Carolina. During the four-day event, cadets were introduced to what the 125th CPB does and how their mission is important, as well as were able to see and interact with a variety of Army and Airforce aircraft. This is the first time this event has taken place, and nearly 800 cadets from more than 60 schools across South Carolina were able to participate.
